Key Responsibilities:- Maintenance Execution: Ensure all maintenance tasks are performed according to FAA approved data and uphold high standards of workmanship.
- Safety Assurance: Prioritize flight safety during the production of airworthy aircraft.
- Record Keeping: Accurately document all maintenance activities on internal forms and aircraft maintenance records, adhering to company and FAA standards.
- Tool Management: Utilize appropriate tools for maintenance tasks, ensuring they are serviceable and calibrated as required.
- Technical Data Utilization: Locate and apply the necessary technical data while conducting maintenance work.
- Supervisory Support: Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor.
- Area Maintenance: Maintain a clean and hazard-free work environment for personnel and aircraft.
- Safety Protocols: Adhere to all safety precautions, including the use of personal protective equipment and compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Training Participation: Engage in on-the-job training and observe all safety procedures and company policies.
- Attendance: Maintain regular attendance as per company policy.
- Education: High School Diploma and training in Airframe and Power Plant with a focus on Structures and Composites.
- Experience: A minimum of 5-10 years in general aviation maintenance, with prior avionics experience preferred. Familiarity with turbo prop aircraft is advantageous.
- Licensure: Must hold a current FAA Airframe and Power Plant Mechanic license.
- Language Skills: Proficiency in English is required; bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
Some potential for domestic and international travel may be necessary.
Eligibility Criteria:Candidates must be a U.S. Person as defined by U.S. export control regulations.
Physical Demands:The role requires various physical activities including sitting, standing, walking, and manual dexterity, with the ability to work in confined spaces.
