Key Responsibilities:

Your primary duties will include testing our on-premises software suite alongside third-party devices, which involves:

  • Network and Switch devices
  • Endpoint compliance checks
  • Software integration assessments

You will also be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining both manual and automated testing frameworks.

Additionally, you will analyze and document software defects to enhance conformance, stability, and supportability.

Your role will require you to execute comprehensive testing processes, including end-to-end testing (both manual and automated), integration testing, and sanity checks, while also creating relevant documentation, use cases, and technical specifications.

Moreover, you will test defect resolutions and new features as necessary.

Collaboration is key; you will work closely with product managers, developers, and fellow quality assurance engineers to refine testing methodologies and execution.

You will translate system requirements and specifications into actionable test cases.

Qualifications:

Professional Skills:

You should possess a minimum of 5-7 years of experience in software quality assurance, particularly in network and endpoint security.

Experience with network security products such as firewalls, intrusion prevention systems, and SIEM solutions is highly advantageous.

Familiarity with Cisco, Juniper, or HPE network devices is recommended.

Hands-on experience with Linux, Python, SQL, and database management is essential, while knowledge of Java is a plus.

Demonstrated ability to logically and analytically troubleshoot software and network issues is required.

You should be capable of quickly learning and adapting to new technologies.

Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential.

Proficiency in troubleshooting and debugging techniques is necessary.

Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware, Hyper-V, and KVM is recommended.

Experience with automation platforms and script development is also beneficial.

Networking Knowledge:

  • Solid understanding of TCP/IP
  • Familiarity with protocols such as DNS, SMTP, SNMP, DHCP, and 802.1x
  • Experience with network equipment configuration (Switches, Routers)
  • Knowledge of Windows-based networks with domain management is a plus
  • Experience with low-level network monitoring and sniffing tools is advantageous
