We are seeking a highly skilled Social Worker 2 to join our team at the North Central Secure Treatment Unit in Montour County. As a key member of our staff, you will play a critical role in the rehabilitation and social development of court-adjudicated youth.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and implement transitional services to ensure successful reintegration of youth into their communities.
- Provide specialized counseling and care to promote the rehabilitation and social development of youth in the Youth Development Center/Youth Forestry Camp system.
- Supervise resident groups in rehabilitative treatment, education, recreation, and social development programs.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Two years of experience as a Social Worker 1 or Forensic Social Worker 1, or equivalent experience in a related field.
- A bachelor's degree in social work or social welfare, or a master's degree in social work or social welfare.
- Ability to perform essential job functions and meet the PA residency requirement.
