Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our interdisciplinary team. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in the rehabilitation process, working closely with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to achieve optimal outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess patients' needs and develop personalized occupational therapy plans to promote independence and functional ability.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and effective communication.
  • Conduct thorough evaluations and reassessments to monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
  • Develop and implement creative and effective interventions to address patients' physical, cognitive, and emotional needs.
  • Provide education and training to patients and their families on occupational therapy techniques and strategies.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient progress and develop comprehensive care plans.
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate records.

Requirements

  • Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state of Rhode Island.
  • Previous experience in occupational therapy, preferably in a rehabilitation setting.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Current CPR/BLS certification.
