Job Summary

We are looking for a Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care and support to our residents during the night shift. As a Registered Nurse at The Peaks Care Center, you will be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and collaborating with our interdisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor patient conditions and assess their needs to provide the best possible care and advice
  • Observe and interpret patient symptoms and communicate them to physicians
  • Collaborate with physicians and nurses to devise individualized care plans for patients
  • Perform routine procedures, such as blood pressure measurements and administering injections, and fill in patients' charts
  • Adjust and administer patient medication and provide treatments according to physician orders
  • Inspect facilities and act to maintain excellent hygiene and safety
  • Provide instant medical care in emergencies
  • Supervise and train LPNs and nursing assistants
  • Foster a supportive and compassionate environment to care for patients and their families
  • Expand knowledge and capabilities by attending educational workshops and conferences
Requirements
  • Valid and active state-issued Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university required
  • 2-years Experience as a Registered Nurse (RN) preferred
  • Must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age-related needs of the residents served
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
