Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Supervisor to join our team at our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Columbus, Ohio. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for driving operational performance, building strong relationships with team members, and ensuring compliance with food safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Performance: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure safety, efficiency, waste reduction, and labor hours are met or exceeded.
  • Production Process Monitoring: Continuously monitor the total production process, including product flow, equipment, and process methodology, to identify areas for improvement.
  • Team Leadership: Build a strong team by communicating performance expectations, monitoring and appraising performance, and providing coaching, training, and support.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure adherence to GMP compliance and safety standards, and provide training and communication on new initiatives.
  • Health and Safety: Conduct regular inspections to ensure machinery and equipment are well-maintained and running safely.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or equivalent combination of education and experience (3-5 years' supervisory experience in a food manufacturing environment).
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Understanding of FDA and OSHA regulations.
  • Lean Manufacturing: Knowledge and implementation of lean manufacturing principles (preferred but not required).
  • Automated Manufacturing: Familiarity with automated manufacturing process/packaging technology, GMP, and industry standards.
