Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Refrigeration Installation Manager to oversee installation projects and ensure profitability. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing project level profitability, coordinating installations, and forecasting manpower requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee procurement of materials, permits, and supplies;
  • Coordinate schedules and forecast manpower requirements;
  • Report on job status and performance;
  • Ensure customer expectations are met;
  • Effectively resolve issues and problems;
  • Develop and maintain productive relationships with customers, GCs, and subcontractors;
  • Interview, select, hire, and oversee onboarding of Foremen and Installation crews;
  • Manage performance and provide training, coaching, and performance feedback to Apprentices, Journeyman, and Foreman;
  • Use metrics to drive accountability and performance.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in commercial construction or a related industry;
  • High school diploma, GED, or completion of trade program or technical school; College degree is a plus;
  • Knowledge of construction principles and practices, including labor hour estimation, forecasting, and multiple disciplines involved in area of responsibility;
  • Proficiency in understanding and managing P&L;
  • Ability to solve problems and apply good judgement;
  • Excellent verbal/nonverbal and written communication and presentation skills;
  • Strong customer service skills, including an ability to proactively address customer issues and concerns;
  • Able to understand and follow all company policies and procedures and all applicable State and Federal laws;
  • Good driving record;
  • 2+ years of experience as a Foreman or other supervisory position;
  • Experience in hiring and managing subcontractors preferred;
  • Strong leadership skills, with demonstrated experience managing a diverse and multi-discipline workforce;
  • Proficient in coaching, training, developing, and building a team.

Salary Range: $80,000 - $120,000 per year
