### Key Responsibilities

* Oversee the preparation of all SEC filings, including 10-Q, 10-K, and 8-K reports, ensuring timely and accurate submission.
* Provide technical accounting expertise on complex business transactions and new accounting standards.
* Lead the company's financial reporting and technical accounting teams, fostering a culture of high performance, continuous improvement, and adherence to best practices.
* Liaise with external auditors, including Ernst & Young, to facilitate annual audits and quarterly reviews.
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of SEC regulations and GAAP, ensuring the company's compliance.
* Work closely with the C-suite executives, providing strategic financial guidance and insights.
* Participate in the preparation of materials for the Board of Directors and Audit Committee.
* Lead special projects and initiatives related to financial reporting and technical accounting.

### Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. An advanced degree or CPA is highly preferred.
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior-level accounting or financial reporting role within the engineering, aviation, or a similar regulated industry.
* Proven experience with SEC reporting and technical accounting, including extensive knowledge of US GAAP, SEC regulations, and the Sarbanes-Oxley Act.
* Previous experience with a Big 4 accounting firm, preferably Ernst & Young, is a plus.
* Strong experience in managing post-IPO financial reporting and compliance.
* Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a high-performing team.
* Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
* Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey complex financial information to a variety of stakeholders.
* Proficiency in using financial software and reporting systems.
