We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Veterinarian Chief of Staff to join our team at Wyvma. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a critical role in supporting the Hospital Manager and Medical Director in their roles, driving clinical excellence, and fostering a positive and productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Hospital Manager and Medical Director in their roles, providing guidance and expertise as needed.
  • Manage the execution of medical protocols and ensure consistency of medical standards and practices across the organization.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve clinical performance and patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with the Hospital Manager and Medical Director to set and achieve long-term goals for clinical growth and development.
  • Lead the DVM/VMD team at the location, including relief, and ensure effective communication and collaboration among team members.
  • Partner with the Hospital Manager and Medical Director to ensure the execution of established medical and hospital protocols.
  • Oversee doctor performance, conduct regular 1:1s, annual reviews, and other performance-related activities.
  • Maintain communication with referring veterinarian community and address concerns in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements
  • Board-certified Criticalist or Experienced (2+ years) ER doctor.
  • Values integrity, exhibits superior communication, displays excellent client service and patient care.
  • Strong skill set to build and foster a strong clinical team.
