About Us

The Building and Facilities Division of the City of Chandler comprises a team of 20 professionals, including technicians, support staff, and management. We oversee 70 multi-use buildings that span over 65 square miles, totaling more than one million square feet. Our team is committed to delivering quality services and meeting the needs of our community.

Ideal Candidate

We are seeking a new team member who values customer service, teamwork, and collaboration. The ideal candidate will have prior custodial and cleaning experience in public facilities.

Minimum Qualifications
No prior experience is required; however, a valid Driver's License with an acceptable driving record is necessary.

Preferred Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalency

• At least 1 year of custodial experience

This is a regular full-time position, subject to a probationary period. A register of qualified candidates will remain active for 4 months should additional positions become available.

The City of Chandler will conduct a driving record check as part of the employment process. An offer of employment is contingent upon acceptable results. All new hires will be required to undergo fingerprinting with successful results as a condition of continued employment.

Applicants should be aware of the City of Chandler's policies regarding drug and alcohol use, which remain in effect despite recent legislative changes. The use of recreational marijuana is prohibited under the city's Drug-Free Workplace Policy.
