Job Summary:

The Ophthalmic Technician will perform a range of duties, including preparing patients for exams, conducting preliminary exams, and capturing medical history. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, basic computer literacy, and a positive attitude.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare patients for exams and conduct preliminary exams
  • Capture medical history and document patient information
  • Perform pre-exam testing, including visual acuity assessment and tonometry
  • Assist physicians during minor surgical and laser procedures
  • Travel to other locations as needed to support clinical needs
Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate clearly and effectively
  • Basic computer literacy required
  • Highly energetic with a positive attitude
  • Must be willing to travel to other offices occasionally
