About the Role

Garnet Health is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Manager to lead our Intensive Care Services team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for coordinating patient care and patient flow, ensuring that our patients receive the highest level of care and service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate patient care and patient flow to ensure efficient and effective delivery of services
  • Consult with staff, physicians, and other hospital leaders to ensure patient needs are met and quality outcomes are achieved
  • Work under the direction of the Nursing Director to oversee all Performance Improvement activities
  • Maintain oversight and monitoring of plans for improvement of clinical services, patient satisfaction, and employee engagement
  • Collaborate and problem-solve with the Nursing Administrator, physicians, Department Heads, and house supervision to ensure that patient care needs are met
Requirements
  • Licensed as a Registered Professional Nurse in the State of New York
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution
  • Three to five years of clinical experience in acute critical care, with two years in a leadership role preferred
  • Ongoing Current RN Registration
  • Working ACLS
  • PALS required within 6 months
  • TNCC within 1 year
  • MERT Training within 6 months of hire or transfer
  • CRRT Training within 1 year of hire or transfer
Working Conditions

This role requires the ability to work in a clean, well-lit, heated or ventilated facility with no routine exposure to hazards. The physical demands of this role include the ability to perform full anatomical range of motion, visual and aural acuity, and finger and hand dexterity to operate computer and office equipment. The ability to lift 10 lbs is also required.
