At SMS group, we are seeking a skilled Logistics Operator to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods across various locations.

The estimated salary for this position is $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience. This includes overtime pay for hours over 8 in a day/40 per week.

Responsibilities
  • Drive 50 ft., 6-8 axel flatbed semi-trailers
  • Loading/unloading truck using an overhead crane, including chaining and tarping the load
  • Maintain the vehicle and records
  • Work night shifts, weekends, and overtime
  • Cross-train on other jobs when not trucking
Requirements
  • Valid Class A CDL driver's license with an updated Medical Card and no driving restrictions
  • Excellent driving record
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Safety-minded worker who is drug-free, dependable, and able to maintain an excellent attendance record
