Job Summary

The Temp Distribution Operator at Michael Foods, Inc. is responsible for operating a forklift to move materials within the warehouse while ensuring safety and compliance with food safety regulations. This role requires careful documentation of shipping and receiving processes, as well as the organization of the warehouse.

Responsibilities
  • Safety First: Monitor the floor for safety concerns or infractions and act appropriately to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Productivity: Ship and receive product damage-free and accurately, completing all documents and paperwork completely and accurately.
  • Inventory Management: Ensure warehouse inventory is organized, clean, damages are taken care of, and pallets are off the floor and placed into bins.
  • Teamwork: Promote teamwork within your team and between teams by communicating in a positive and pleasant manner.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • A minimum of six months experience in a palletized warehouse environment.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • The successful completion of Powered Industrial Truck training program and passing the forklift certification.
  • Effective reading, writing, and speaking English skills.
Salary

This position comes with a competitive salary range of $25-$35 per hour, depending on experience.
