Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Instructional Technologist to join our team at Northeast College of Health Sciences. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting faculty and students in the use of technological tools and innovations to enhance teaching, testing, and assessment of student learning.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Assist Faculty with Course Development: Collaborate with faculty to design and deliver course materials and educational activities that incorporate technology.
  2. Develop Instructional Technology Training: Create training programs and materials to support faculty, students, and administration in the use of technology-enhanced learning platforms.
  3. Provide Technical Support: Offer front-line support for faculty and students using technologies in face-to-face, online, and blended courses.
  4. Support College Initiatives: Contribute to the development and implementation of college-wide initiatives that promote the effective use of technology in teaching and learning.
Requirements
  1. Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in education, instructional technology, or a related field, with 1-3 years of related experience.
  2. Technical Skills: Strong working knowledge of Learning Management Systems, preferably D2L Brightspace, and experience with Microsoft Office applications.
  3. Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with individuals of diverse backgrounds and skill levels.
