Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Staffing Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all referrals are received and handled accurately, and will perform various supervisory activities for scheduling caregivers, timecard processing, and other payroll responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Answer telephone inquiries and take messages using good telephone technique.
  • Receive referrals and inquiries on our programs and services.
  • Assist with interviews, screening, and testing of all applicants.
  • Schedule and coordinate day-to-day activities of caregivers.
  • Assist with recruiting, associate hiring, orientations, in-services, disciplinary actions, and other HR-related tasks.
  • Perform payroll duties, including verifying time sheets and computer input of time sheet changes for payroll processing.
  • Maintain documentation of associate work records and ensure current and complete personnel records for all homecare associates.
  • Communicate continually with associates and clients to evaluate service.
  • Respond promptly and courteously to all clients' calls.
  • Perform on-call coordinator duties as needed.
  • Assist with sales, marketing, and public relations efforts.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of common medical terminology.
  • Superb customer service skills.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Experience in MS Office: Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, etc.
  • Be a team player with a strong work ethic and take ownership of their job.
  • Able to work independently, demonstrating sound judgment.
  • Read, write, speak, and understand English as needed for the job.
  • Be available as required for on-call duty outside of normal office hours.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2-year degree in Human Resources or related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a high-volume work environment.
  • 2 years staffing experience.
  • Personal care experience (CNA, HHA, GNA, PCA).
  • Have a positive attitude.
