Key Responsibilities

Some of the key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Conducting regular inspections of fire safety equipment to ensure it is in good working condition.
  • Removing, inspecting, and weighing carbon dioxide systems to ensure they are functioning properly.
  • Inspecting and testing heat detectors to ensure they are functioning correctly.
  • Inspecting portable fire extinguishers to ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Conducting inspections of various vessels and equipment to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • First Aid and CPR certification from a recognized organization.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols.
