Job Summary: We are seeking a highly qualified Laboratory Director to lead our clinical laboratory team at a prestigious hospital in New Mexico.
About the Role: As a Laboratory Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire operation of our full-service clinical laboratory. This includes writing and updating policies and procedures, ensuring all quality measures are met, and providing leadership and guidance to the laboratory staff.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement laboratory policies and procedures
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Lead and manage laboratory staff
- Collaborate with hospital leadership to achieve organizational goals
Requirements:
- BS Degree in Medical Technology
- ASCP or AMT certification (or equivalent)
- Previous leadership experience in a clinical laboratory setting
