Job Summary:

This position is responsible for performing highway construction field inspections, project documentation, and ensuring compliance with State and Federal specifications. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to learn and understand plans, specifications, and contract documents, as well as basic computer skills and math skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform field inspections and document project activities
  • Ensure compliance with State and Federal specifications
  • Document daily activities and maintain accurate records
  • Perform basic math skills, including volume and area calculations

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to learn and understand plans, specifications, and contract documents
  • Basic computer skills and math skills

Working Conditions:

This position requires working in the field in varying weather conditions, including heat, cold, humidity, wind, rain, and snow. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be willing to accept change of geographical assignments.
