MMC Group is seeking a skilled Sterile Processing Technician to join their team for a travel assignment in a state-of-the-art instrument processing and sterilizing facility.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for decontaminating, High Level Disinfecting (HLD), assembling, sterilizing, and distributing clean and sterile surgical instruments, trays, and pans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Decontaminate and HLD surgical instruments and equipment
  • Assemble and sterilize surgical instrument trays and pans
  • Distribute clean and sterile instruments to operating rooms and other departments
  • Maintain accurate records of instrument processing and sterilization
  • Collaborate with the Sterile Processing Department to ensure efficient and effective instrument processing
Requirements
  • Certified Sterile Processor (HSPA or CBSPD)
  • BLS certification
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Sterile Processing Technician
  • Large hospital experience (500 bed plus)
  • Must have travel experience (6 months)
