Pharmacy Technician

• Assist pharmacists in the practice of pharmacy, including filling prescriptions, verifying medication, and checking for potential interactions.
• Provide excellent customer service, answering questions and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Operate pharmacy systems, including entering patient and drug information, and processing prescriptions.
• Participate in inventory management, including ordering, unpacking, and storing pharmaceuticals.
• Assist with clinical services, such as collecting and labeling blood/urine samples, and coordinating with healthcare providers.
• Develop strong relationships with customers and healthcare providers, promoting Walgreens' services and products.

• Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings and weekends.
• Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
• Prefer prior work experience with Walgreens.
• Prefer good math skills and computer skills.
• Prefer knowledge of store inventory control and PTCB certification.
