Pharmacy Technician

As a Pharmacy Technician at Walgreens, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and customer service. You will work closely with our pharmacists to assist with prescription filling, patient counseling, and other pharmacy-related tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist pharmacists with prescription filling, including retrieving, counting, and pouring pharmaceutical drugs
• Verify patient information and medication lists to ensure accuracy
• Provide excellent customer service, answering questions and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
• Operate pharmacy systems, including cash registers and inventory management software
• Assist with clinical services, such as blood and urine sample collection and labeling
• Develop strong relationships with patients and healthcare providers to promote patient care and satisfaction

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; PTCB certification preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
• Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a cash register
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods
