Role SummaryProCare Therapy is in search of a committed and skilled Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to provide essential behavioral support to students facing challenges such as autism and other behavioral disorders. This role involves the application of advanced behavioral analysis techniques to foster a positive educational experience.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and formulate effective Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs).
- Deliver both direct and indirect behavioral support services across various educational environments.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and school personnel to devise and execute impactful behavioral strategies.
- Provide training and guidance to school staff on the implementation of behavior intervention plans and evidence-based methodologies.
- Monitor student progress through systematic data collection and analysis.
- Facilitate individual and group counseling sessions to address behavioral and emotional needs.
- Engage in the development and execution of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and 504 Plans.
- Conduct training sessions for staff and parents on behavioral strategies and best practices.
- Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of student progress and interventions.
- Adhere to ethical standards and best practices in behavior analysis.
- Participate in team meetings, case discussions, and ongoing professional development.
- BCBA certification is required.
- Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in providing behavioral support within an educational context.
- In-depth knowledge of behavior analysis principles and intervention strategies.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
- Proficient in data collection and analytical methods.
- Ability to work autonomously while managing a diverse caseload.
