Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome and assist customers with a friendly demeanor.
- Accurately process transactions using cash registers.
- Restock shelves, coolers, and displays with products.
- Ensure the store is clean and organized through regular maintenance.
- Monitor inventory levels and inform management when supplies are low.
- Adhere to company policies regarding sales, refunds, and exchanges.
- Check expiration dates on perishable goods and remove outdated items.
- Provide customers with product information and recommendations.
- Follow safety protocols to maintain a secure working environment.
Essential Skills:
- Ability to stand, bend, and reach for extended periods.
- Basic math skills for handling cash and transactions.
- Visual acuity for checking identification.
- Ability to understand instructions for operating equipment.
- Capability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Tolerance for exposure to cleaning products and other substances.
- Ability to work in a cooler environment for limited periods.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Preferred age of 18 years or older.
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
Compensation:
Starting at $17/hr, commensurate with experience.
