Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Fabrication Welder to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for building machine frames and components from structural steel, as well as disassembling machines for painting and shipping. You will work with a variety of materials, including light gauge sheet metal, heavy gauge tube, flat bar, and I-Beam.

Responsibilities:

  • MIG welding and fabrication of machine frames and components using various materials.
  • Fabrication of industrial ovens, safety guarding, vacuum tanks, swing doors, fan brackets, and catwalks.
  • Grinding and finishing completed products to ensure a high-quality finish.
  • Performing quality checks on finished components to meet strict standards.
  • Installing finished components into machine structures with precision.
  • Disassembling machines for painting and shipping, ensuring proper handling and protection.
  • Operating sit-down forklifts and overhead cranes for material handling tasks.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in MIG welding and fabrication.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints (or willingness to learn).
  • Experience with saws, shears, drill presses, forklifts, and cranes is a plus.
