Fabrication Welder

The Fabrication Welder is responsible for building machine frames and components out of structural steel, followed by tearing down completed machines to prepare for transport.

• MIG welding and fabrication of machine frames and components that consist of light gauge sheet metal to heavy gauge tube, flat bar, and I-Beam.
• Fabricating industrial ovens, safety guarding, vacuum tanks, swing doors, fan brackets, and catwalks.
• Grinding and finishing completed products.
• Performing quality checks on finished components.
• Installing finished components into machine structures.
• Disassembling machines for painting and shipping.
• Material handling with sit-down forklifts and overhead cranes.

To be successful as a Fabrication Welder at MAAC Machinery, you should have:

• MIG welding and/or fabrication experience.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints (or ability to learn).
• Experience with saws, shears, drill presses, forklifts, and cranes are a plus.
