Position Overview
We are currently in search of a dedicated and adaptable Radiologic Technologist to join our team at ExpressCare Urgent Care Centers. This role is essential in delivering high-quality medical imaging services in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Work Schedule
As a full-time employee, you will be expected to work three shifts per week, with open availability to accommodate weekends and holidays. Our centers operate seven days a week from 9 AM to 9 PM.
Key Responsibilities
- Performing high-quality radiographic examinations while ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Producing CD copies of patient images for further analysis.
- Accurately documenting patient data in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.
- Conducting rapid laboratory tests and measuring vital signs.
- Recording lab results in the EMR with precision.
- Administering EKGs and applying orthopedic splints as necessary.
- Assisting healthcare providers with basic medical procedures.
- Preparing and collecting specimens for laboratory analysis.
- Adhering to established protocols and procedures to maintain a high standard of care.
- Participating in scheduled staff meetings and completing assigned tasks, including inventory management.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Completion of an Associate's Degree or equivalent is required.
- Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- ARRT Certification and a valid Maryland State Radiographer License are mandatory.
- A minimum of one year of clinical experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.
- Current CPR Certification is required.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
- Ability to work extended shifts and manage physical demands, including lifting up to 25 pounds.
- Willingness to travel to various locations as needed.
