We are seeking a skilled and experienced Bus Driver to join our team at Transdev. As a Bus Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting passengers to their destinations.
Key Responsibilities- Drive a transit bus and transport passengers safely, timely, and efficiently
- Greet passengers, accept fare payment, and maintain a safe environment
- Properly report all incidents, accidents, mechanical concerns
- Other duties as required to ensure a safe and courteous ride for our passengers
- Be at least 21 years old with a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- A valid driver's license in good standing with the ability to obtain a CDL permit
- Possess excellent customer service and communication skills
- Punctual with an emphasis on attendance
- Sit for extended periods of time
- Drive in traffic and in all weather conditions
- Lift, push, pull, and carry tools, objects, or equipment above shoulder level without assistance
- Move up and down stairs easily
- Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping
