Job Title: Registered Nurse - Interventional Radiology

Incredible Health is actively hiring for a Registered Nurse - Interventional Radiology position in the Rockford, IL area. This is a great opportunity for nurses with experience in interventional radiology, nuclear medicine, or sedation to join our team.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in the Interventional Radiology department. The ideal candidate will have experience in radiology, ICU, or high-acuity clinical settings and be proficient in electronic medical record systems.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist radiologists and medical professionals during diagnostic imaging examinations and interventional radiology procedures
  • Administer and monitor intravenous contrast agents, ensuring prompt attention to any allergic reactions or complications
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to provide optimal patient care before, during, and after radiologic and diagnostic imaging procedures
  • Educate patients and their families on pre- and post-procedure care, explaining the risks and benefits of radiologic tests and contrast agents
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all nursing care in accordance with hospital and departmental policies
Requirements:
  • Associate's Degree (ADN) or above in nursing
  • Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license
  • 1 year experience in radiology, ICU, or high-acuity clinical settings preferred
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications from the American Heart Association
  • Strong understanding of radiologic and imaging procedures and safety protocols, including the use of contrast media
  • Proficient in electronic medical record systems

$60,000 to $87,000 per year
