Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Metal Technician to join our team at B Street Collision Center. As a Metal Technician, you will be responsible for repairing and replacing structural and frame parts, as well as performing suspension repairs and light automotive mechanical repairs.

Responsibilities:

  • Structural and frame part replacement and repair
  • Part repair and replacement
  • Suspension repairs
  • Light automotive mechanical repairs
  • Teamwork and communication skills
  • Maintaining a clean and organized environment
  • Reading and repairing per OEM repair procedures
  • Welding knowledge and skills (steel, aluminum, and spot)
  • Frame rack experience
  • Ability to repair and replace restraint systems (SRS)
  • Ability to repair and replace vehicle suspension

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2-5 years of experience in the auto body/automotive/dealership industry or a related field
  • Must be able to lift, squat, kneel, bend, and manage car parts in excess of 50 pounds
  • You must have a valid driver's license
  • Must provide own hand and power tools (large equipment provided)
