Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Pharmacy Clerk to join our team at Fairview Clinics - Eagan. As a Pharmacy Clerk, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service, handling cash register transactions, and ensuring the accurate delivery of medications to patients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle cash register transactions and accurately enter sales information into cash registers.
• Provide accurate and timely assistance to customers, responding to their questions and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
• Assist customers with prescriptions and/or other products, ensuring that their needs are met and exceeded.
• Complete special orders to meet customer needs, demonstrating a commitment to customer satisfaction.
• Use pharmacy software (EnterpriseRx/EPIC) to search for patients, orders, and prescription fill status, ensuring accurate and efficient processing.
• Ensure the accurate medication, supplies, and equipment are received by the patient, maintaining a high level of quality and attention to detail.
• Deliver items to patients, physicians' offices, nursing stations, long-term care facilities, and other areas as assigned, demonstrating a commitment to customer satisfaction.
• Package and mail/UPS/Quicksilver items appropriately, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
• Maintain appropriate documentation and logs, including prescription signature logs, discharge logs, inventory logs, courier logs, mailing logs, compounding and specialty order logs, daily refrigerator temperature logs, and RMH logs.

Requirements:

• High School/G.E.D
• 0-1 year of retail experience
• Excellent customer service skills, proficiency in the English language, good attention to detail, ability to problem solve effectively, ability to follow policies and procedures, basic math skills, basic typing skills, time management skills, conflict management skills, knowledge of POS and cash handling skills, triage skills, and excellent communication skills.

Working Conditions:

This position is eligible for benefits and requires a flexible schedule, including 80 hours bi-weekly, with a likely schedule of 9am to 5pm Monday through Friday and 1 to 2 Saturdays/month. Schedule may vary/change to meet the needs of the department.
