Job Summary:
Albany Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our OBGYN Generalist team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with our physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including physical examinations and collection of clinical data.
- Develop and implement individualized plans of care, incorporating evidence-based practices and patient preferences.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and perform minor surgical procedures as needed.
- Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient care and effective communication.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of best practices.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
- Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in the state of New York.
- ATLS, BCLS, and HIPAA compliance certifications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Working Conditions:
- Standing, walking, and lifting are required for this role.
- Ability to work in a dynamic, patient-centered environment.
