Job Overview

Reports To: Executive Housekeeper

Supervises: Room/Suite Attendants

Shift Requirements: Flexible hours, including mandatory weekends

Objective: To oversee Room Attendants and conduct inspections of hotel accommodations, including guest rooms, bathrooms, hallways, and public areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Delegate tasks to Room Attendants and provide training on housekeeping responsibilities; may also engage in cleaning activities.
  2. Maintain records of room occupancy.
  3. Address guest complaints related to housekeeping services or equipment.
  4. Prepare requisitions for room supplies and furniture maintenance or replacements.
  5. Inspect carpets, drapes, and furniture for stains, damage, or wear.
  6. Monitor and inventory linens and supplies. Assist in budget management through oversight of employees' usage of linens, supplies, and equipment.
  7. Document inspection outcomes and inform cleaning staff of any deficiencies.
  8. Coordinate with other hotel departments regarding issues requiring their attention.
  9. Ensure adherence to key control policies.
  10. Proactively greet guests in a welcoming and friendly manner.
