Co-op Mechanical Engineering Opportunity

Schaeffler is a dynamic global technology company seeking a Co-op Mechanical Engineer to join our team. As a Co-op Mechanical Engineer, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in mechanical engineering and contribute to the development of innovative products and solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support design efforts for product development, including calculation, simulation, CAD modeling, analysis, and component sizing.
  • Conduct component or system level mechanical testing and component teardown analysis.
  • Interface with cross-functional teams to effectively complete assigned tasks.
  • Develop skills and knowledge through projects, job-rotation, hands-on training, and exposure to Schaeffler's technological processes.
Requirements:
  • Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Maintain a 2.5 GPA or higher per semester.
  • Experience in Microsoft Office Suite and excellent communication ability (written & verbal).
  • Self-motivated and driven to achieve results, with an assertive approach to solving problems.
  • Ability to prioritize and work independently.
