Technical Specialist 2: An Opportunity for Excellence in Security and Electronic Systems.

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Specialist 2 to join our dynamic team at M.C. Dean, Inc. As a key member of our Security and Electronic Systems business Unit, you will play a crucial role in delivering top-notch solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers.

This challenging position demands an individual with exceptional technical expertise, strong problem-solving skills, and excellent communication abilities. Your primary responsibilities will include:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze system performance and recommend improvements to ensure seamless operations.
  • Collaborate with the system administration and engineering team to resolve complex issues.
  • Utilize advanced knowledge of networking principles and system administration skills to troubleshoot systems and operating systems.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, manufacturers, vendors, and system administrators to ensure smooth project execution.


Requirements:
  • High School Diploma/GED or Associates degree with 6+ years of experience in installation, troubleshooting, and/or testing of electronic security systems.
  • System administrator experience in performing triage on system problems, resolving system problems, analyzing system data to prevent problems, and implementing new workstations and system extensions.
  • Reliable attendance at customer sites during work hours required by customers is essential.


Desired Qualifications:
  • Certification in CCure 9000 Access Control System, Bosch Digital Video Systems, or Gallagher Access Control System.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft Server 2019/2022, Dell Storage Area Networks, Brocade, Cisco network equipment, VM Ware, WSUS Maintenance, UNIX, and Windows operating systems.


Benefits:
  • A competitive salary range of $78,675 - $104,900.

  • Exposure to computer screens for extended periods may be required.
