Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our team at MelroseWakefield Healthcare. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care and support to patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Assist with patient flow, preparing medical records, and communicating with patients and providers.
  • Perform vital signs, collect specimens, and assist with diagnostic testing and procedures.
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment, adhering to infection control and cleaning policies.
  • Stock and maintain supplies, monitor expiration dates, and order supplies as needed.
  • Participate in quality improvement projects and provide administrative support as needed.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Medical Assistant (MA) certification or obtain within 6 months of hire.
  • One year of medical office experience or physician office experience.
  • CPR certification.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Two years of medical office experience.
  • Phlebotomy Certification.
  • Bi-Lingual.
