Surgical Technologist

As a Surgical Technologist in our Labor and Delivery department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient performance of surgical procedures. Your expertise will be essential in preparing the operating suite with sterile and non-sterile instruments and supplies, as well as assisting surgeons with the provision of hemostasis during surgery.
Responsibilities:
Prepare the operating suite with sterile and non-sterile instruments and supplies.
Assist surgeons with the provision of hemostasis during surgery.
Maintain instruments in an organized manner and monitor and track instrument counts throughout procedures.
Assist with preparing, transporting, positioning, and draping patients.
Requirements:
High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job-specific experience required.
BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Certified Surgical Technologist preferred.
