Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Safety Manager in fostering a workplace that prioritizes injury prevention and incident management by evaluating and overseeing all aspects of occupational safety initiatives.
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities and vehicles to ensure adherence to safety regulations.
- Perform job site safety evaluations.
- Carry out risk assessments at worksites to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
- Investigate safety-related incidents as they occur.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, IMSHA, and EM-385 standards.
- Execute other related tasks as necessary.
Required Qualifications:
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience or training.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Practical knowledge of fire protection regulations and standards.
- Able to interact effectively with individuals at all organizational levels.
- Proficient in managing change, resolving conflicts, and addressing problems with minimal supervision.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant database applications.
- Ability to work in extreme temperatures and noisy environments.
