Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Safety Manager in fostering a workplace that prioritizes injury prevention and incident management by evaluating and overseeing all aspects of occupational safety initiatives.
  • Conduct regular inspections of facilities and vehicles to ensure adherence to safety regulations.
  • Perform job site safety evaluations.
  • Carry out risk assessments at worksites to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
  • Investigate safety-related incidents as they occur.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, IMSHA, and EM-385 standards.
  • Execute other related tasks as necessary.

Required Qualifications:

  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience or training.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Practical knowledge of fire protection regulations and standards.
  • Able to interact effectively with individuals at all organizational levels.
  • Proficient in managing change, resolving conflicts, and addressing problems with minimal supervision.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant database applications.
  • Ability to work in extreme temperatures and noisy environments.
