Role Summary

Physician Assistants collaborate with supervising physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver primary care services tailored to family units, focusing on direct care, health promotion, disease prevention, and counseling throughout the patient's life.

Key Responsibilities

  10. Ensure availability for after-hours patient care.
  11. Share responsibilities for extended office hours as approved.
  12. Manage administrative tasks as required.
  13. Adhere to the Clinical Policy Manual.
  14. Assist in medical data collection for quality assurance and grant applications.
  15. Engage in quality assurance and improvement activities.
  16. Comply with all responsibilities related to patient billing and reimbursement.
  17. Maintain electronic health records according to organizational policies.
  18. Report operational issues to management as necessary.
  19. Participate in community health initiatives.
  20. Contribute to the review of medical policies and procedures.
  21. Perform other duties as assigned to enhance operational efficiency.

Qualifications

Essential Attributes

General Skills:

Professional Knowledge:
