Role Responsibilities:

  • Engage with Project Managers and clients to comprehend project objectives and budgets, assisting in proposal preparations and coordinating with subject matter experts.
  • Oversee architectural projects from initial concept through to comprehensive construction documentation, ensuring all specifications, materials, and costs are meticulously detailed.
  • Conduct life-safety analyses and code assessments for both existing structures and new designs to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
  • Manage contract administration related to architectural services, including responding to RFIs, reviewing shop drawings, and conducting construction observations.
  • Perform site visits and field measurements as necessary to accurately document existing conditions for renovation projects.
  • Lead the due diligence and permit submission processes to ensure timely project progression.
  • Coordinate and communicate project milestones with clients, team members, and regulatory authorities throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Develop project timelines and oversee the production and initial quality control of construction documents.
  • Facilitate both internal and external meetings, including those with Planning and Zoning Boards and other relevant authorities.
  • Maintain an understanding of design timelines and financial metrics, collaborating with Project Managers to keep projects on schedule and within budget.
  • Review operational procedures to ensure adherence to applicable policies and performance standards.
  • Execute additional project-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 4 years of experience in project management within a design and construction context; or alternatively, 10+ years of relevant experience.
  • Preferred qualifications include an Architectural License and LEED Certification.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit is essential.
  • Familiarity with Newforma and Microsoft Office Suite is advantageous.
