We are seeking a skilled Printing Apprentice to join our team at Crucial Link Group in Cleveland, Ohio. As a Printing Apprentice, you will undergo an extensive training program to develop your skills in operating offset printing presses and producing high-quality custom prints.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Load and operate Heidelberg SpeedMaster 2 and 6 color presses while following safety and operational procedures.
  • Learn the craft of doing overprints and 100% printed matches using pre-mixed spot colors and replicating color/image on various substrates.
  • Visually inspect printed material for quality according to customer specifications.
  • Check ink level, adjust level, and learn all press adjustments and procedures, especially ink/water balance.
  • Unload press and keep print organized and properly identified.
  • Assist Graphic Services for smooth press operation/quality print.
  • Clean press to switch color; follow all procedures for press clean-up.
  • Follow all safety procedures and actively promote safety to co-workers.
Requirements:
  • 2-3 years of experience as Press Operator with offset conventional sheetfed presses.
  • Excellent eye for color; detailed and strong inspection skills.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Ability to lift/carry boxes; long standing, repetitive walking, squatting.
  • Organized, focused, and able to learn/follow safety and print procedures.
  • Understands four color process printing and has the skill to color correct.

We offer a competitive salary range of $18-25+/hr, depending on experience, skills, and abilities. The position is a 1st shift, Monday-Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm, with opportunities for overtime.
