About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Anesthesiologist Assistant or Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to join our team at Emory University Hospital Midtown. As a member of our Surgical Specialties Team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our academic healthcare system.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the administration of general and regional anesthesia to surgical and non-surgical procedure patients.
- Perform initial acute cardio-pulmonary resuscitation in life-threatening situations or as directed by a physician.
- Interpret and record patient's physiological and pharmacological status, and assist the Anesthesiologist in gathering routine pre-op data.
- Establish multi-parameter monitoring of patient prior to, during and after anesthesia or in other acute care situations.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) or Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant (CAA) Masters Degree program.
- Licensed or eligible to practice in the State of Georgia.
- Certified by National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA) or National Commission for Certification of Anesthesiologist Assistants (NCCAA).
What We Offer:
- Competitive salary range: $198,000 - $230,000 per year (for Full Time, 1.0FTE) based on years of experience as an Anesthetist (CRNA or CAA).
- Eligible for extra duty pay, overnight shift allowance, CME time-off & allowances, Student Loan Repayment program.
- 37 days of PTO (for Full Time 1.0FTE), Benefits coverage, including PTO accrual, will begin from first day of employment.
