Position Overview

We are looking for Part-Time Youth Program Supervisors (under 20 hours weekly) to support our Child & Family Services, specifically within the After School Program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receiving daily curriculum staffing assignments.
  • Ensuring the safety and supervision of school-aged children.
  • Acting as a mentor to the youth enrolled in the program.
  • Documenting daily snacks and meals provided.
  • Maintaining accurate attendance records.
  • Managing inventory of site equipment and supplies.
  • Assisting with daily activities alongside the Site Manager and Senior and Assistant Leaders.
  • Working at various school-age sites as required.
  • Ensuring adherence to program policies and procedures.
  • Participating in staff meetings.

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years old and meet one of the following criteria:
  • A Bachelor's or Associate's Degree with 3 months of supervised experience working with school-aged children; OR a High School Diploma or equivalent with 9 months of supervised experience working with school-aged children.
  • Proof of a physical examination within one year prior to employment. Evidence of immunity to measles, mumps, and rubella.
  • Compliance with current EEC tuberculosis screening requirements.
  • Current certification in CPR and First Aid, as mandated by EEC.
  • Bi-lingual skills are advantageous.
  • CORI/DCF review required prior to employment.
