The Program Director will be responsible for directing all phases of programs from inception through completion, ensuring cost, schedule, and technical performance. This role will also involve participating in contract negotiations, coordinating proposal preparation, and acting as the primary customer contact for program activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Directs all phases of programs from inception through completion
  • Responsible for cost, schedule, and technical performance of company programs or subsystems of major programs
  • Participates in contract negotiations and contract changes
  • Coordinates proposal preparation, business plans, and financial terms/conditions of contract
  • Acts as primary customer contact for program activities
  • Develops new business or expands the product line with the customer
  • Establishes milestones and monitors adherence to master plans and schedules
  • Directs the work of employees assigned to the program from technical, manufacturing, and administrative areas
  • Manages one or more programs of size and complexity
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physical Sciences, Mathematics, Management Information Systems, or Business
  • 8-12 years of experience in program management
  • 5 years of experience as a manager of C4ISR systems programs
  • Valid Program Management Professional (PMP) Certification or Certified DAWIA Level 3 in Program Management
  • Experience managing large program budgets and spend plans
  • Capable of managing subcontract partners and associated sub spend plans and execution schedules
  • Clear communication skills
