Core Duties and Responsibilities
  • Embody the First Community Credit Union Mission, Vision, and Values within the organization and the community.
  • Assist in branch operations to effectively serve our members, including acting as a backup for the Receptionist.
  • Manage the opening and closing of the branch office.
  • Train and oversee the activities of the teller team in accordance with credit union policies and procedures.
  • Perform teller duties as necessary.
  • Ensure daily balancing and accurate record-keeping for each teller in the branch.
  • Prepare weekly schedules for the teller team.
  • Balance and maintain vault cash, providing the Accounting department with the weekly cash order amount.
  • Assist in supervising and managing the teller team.
  • Oversee the organization and retrieval of deposit items.
  • Supervise the imaging, filing, and retrieval of various credit union records.
  • Coordinate with maintenance vendors for the upkeep of credit union equipment.
  • Maintain positive relationships with members, colleagues, and the Board of Directors.
  • Participate in credit union events as requested.
  • Perform additional related tasks as assigned.
