Position Overview:
As a key member of our team, the Residential Mortgage Loan Consultant will collaborate closely with our homebuilding partners to facilitate mortgage solutions for new home buyers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage with home sales representatives to assist clients in completing mortgage applications and gathering necessary documentation.
  • Prepare and present initial Loan Estimates to potential borrowers.
  • Conduct prequalification assessments for prospective clients as required.
  • Negotiate loan pricing with customers effectively.
  • Manage the entire loan process by liaising with applicants, processors, underwriters, and creditors to address any inquiries regarding application details.
  • Ensure timely scheduling of loan closings to align with the needs of both the home builder and the borrower.
  • Maintain an active NMLS and State of North Carolina Mortgage Loan Originator License.

Qualifications:
Ideal candidates will possess some college education and a minimum of three years of experience in the mortgage industry, with prior experience as a loan officer being highly desirable.
