Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Operations Manager to join our team at Whole Foods Market. As a key member of our store leadership, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, leading and developing a high-performing team, and driving sales growth.

Responsibilities:
  • Daily Operations Management: Assist the Team Leader in analyzing sales reports, managing labor costs, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Team Leadership: Develop and lead a high-performing team, providing coaching, training, and feedback to ensure employees are equipped to deliver outstanding customer service.
  • Sales Growth: Work with the Team Leader to develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth, including product merchandising, visual displays, and promotions.
  • Customer Service: Foster a positive and welcoming environment that meets the needs of all customers, responding promptly to their questions and concerns.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory levels, manage stockroom organization, and ensure efficient receipt and stocking of products.
  • Vendor Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors, ensuring timely deliveries, resolving issues, and negotiating favorable terms.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in retail management, preferably in a grocery or supermarket setting.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Compensation and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary range of $55,000 - $65,000 per year, based on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
