About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Regency at Whitmore Lake. As a LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality nursing care to our residents, working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Plan, coordinate, and provide nursing care services to residents, including administering medications, wound care, and vital sign monitoring.
  • Supervise and delegate tasks to Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and other team members to ensure efficient and effective care delivery.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of residents' health status, identifying potential issues and developing plans to address them.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal resident outcomes.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures to enhance resident care.
Requirements
  • Current LPN licensure in the state of Michigan.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a long-term care setting, preferably in a skilled nursing and rehabilitation environment.
  • CPR certification.
