About the Organization: This physician group is a seasoned collective of healthcare providers committed to delivering exceptional patient care across the East Texas region. The team comprises family practitioners, pediatric specialists, and experts in various fields including cancer treatment, rheumatology, orthopedics, and pulmonary medicine.
Role Responsibilities: The new physician will play a crucial role in developing the oncology segment of the practice, addressing the significant needs of a largely underserved patient demographic in East Texas. The position is primarily outpatient, supported by a robust Hospitalist program that manages inpatient admissions.
Expectations: The ramp-up period is anticipated to be swift due to minimal competition in the area. The overarching aim is to establish a comprehensive community cancer center.
Key Details:
- Position is part of an employed multi-specialty group.
- The new physician will collaborate with one other Medical Oncologist and a Radiation Oncologist.
- Clinic operating hours are Monday through Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM.
- Candidates must be Board Eligible/Board Certified with an active Texas medical license (or in the process of obtaining one).
