Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Automotive Technician to join our team at Icahn Automotive Group LLC. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing complex automotive issues, providing exceptional customer service, and collaborating with colleagues to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair automotive systems, including brake and hydraulic, exhaust, primary and advanced fuel ignition and electrical, suspension and alignment, air conditioning and computer systems.
  • Perform job duties of lower-level technicians, including Technician B, Mechanic, and General Service Technician.
  • Effectively communicate technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-technical individuals, including employees and customers.
  • Continuously learn new technical information and techniques to stay up-to-date with rapidly changing automotive technology.
  • Assist colleagues in performing technical activities and maintain a safe and organized work environment.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • 3+ years of strong automotive mechanical diagnosis, problem-solving, and repair experience.
  • 4 or more ASE certifications preferred (A4 Steering and Suspension, A5 Brakes, and 2 from A1 Engine Repair, A6 Electrical, A7 HVAC, A8 Engine Performance, L1 Advanced Engine Performance).
  • Section 609 certification required.
  • State Inspection license if applicable.
  • High level of motivation, energy, and customer-focused attitude.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Successful completion of pre-employment background check.
  • Availability to work days, nights, holidays, and weekends as needed.

Benefits

We offer a competitive hourly rate of $22.00 to $34.06 based on experience. Additionally, we provide medical, dental, and vision benefits, the ability to enroll in a retirement plan, and PTO.
